10 things you didn’t know about my ipod (Metal Edition)

Today we say goodbye to May, and with it, VH1’s "Metal Month." So in honor of the most excellent series "Heavy: The Story of Metal," and the equally butt-kicking Pantera episode of "Behind the Music" (or as I like to call it, the best hour of television this year that had nothing to to with "Lost"), it’s time for 10* things you didn’t know about my ipod – Metal Edition.

*In true metal fashion, this list goes to 11.
Ipod

1. Most played song by a band with "metal" in their name: "I Want You So Hard" by Eagles of Death Metal.
2. Most played song by an actual metal band with "metal" in their name: "Fight Fire With Fire" by Metallica.
3. Most played song by an actual metal band with a type of metal in their name: "Run To The Hills" by Iron Maiden.
4. Most played cover of a metal song by a sort-of-metal band: "War Pigs" by Faith No More.
5. Most played cover of a Duran Duran song by a "nu-metal" band: "The Chauffeur" by Deftones.
6. Most played cover of a classic rock staple by a hair metal band (that’s actually way better than the original): "Radar Love" by White Lion.
7. Most played song by a band with a metal-sounding name that isn’t particularly metal at all: "The Kids are Insane" by Urge Overkill.
8. Most played metal song about Bill Hicks: "Eulogy" by Tool.
9. Most played Motorhead song: "Ace of Spades"
10. Most played song written by Lemmy of Motorhead before he joined Motorhead, that he later played with Motorhead called "Motorhead," but in this case, not performed by Motorhead: "Motorhead" by Primal Scream.
11. Most played metal song that happens to be my favorite metal song ever (and would be the song I came to bat to if I were a baseball player): "Mouth for War" by Pantera.
